Porsche 991 / 911 GTS Burned Car Dismantled

Have you ever wondered what it takes to dismantle a burned Porsche?

We have learned it takes more that just the right licenses, location, safety & tools to get a job like this done. You also need the right people. Thats where we come in. We have been dismantling Porsches for over two decades, around twenty five years. We have come across it all. From electrical burns to engine fires.

We just received a Porsche 991 GTS. We ran the vin to see the options when it was originally built. Luckily it has a factory AERO kit and yellow seat belts. The 911 Aero Kit design and yellow accents give the interior that little extra flavor. We didn’t have to see the before pictures to realize what was once a amazing driving machine is now going to be a donor to beautify others.

When we receive Porsches, we immediately complete an intake process. Having purchased cars from both private parties & auctions we have come across a lot of random items tossed in the car even though it didn’t belong to the accident. Upon inspection we noticed an odd looking comforter in the back seat and a refrigerator glass drawer in the front trunk / frunk. Some random trash and a burnt fancy cigarette lighter that wasn’t so pretty anymore. Melted plastic and interior broken glass everywhere. This Porsche had seen better days sadly.

The fancy OEM factory rear aero style bumper and decklid were able to be salvaged! The only plastic that did not melt in the fire. The engine and transmission are also intact. The rear wheels and suspension untouched and unbothered by the fire that burnt off most of the front end. Most people wouldn’t want to buy a car like this because not only is dismantling a car like this is tricky but also discarding the car is another project.
